The inaugural "Hong Kong Capital Markets Forum 2024: Driving Growth with Market Integrity and Sound Governance", jointly organized by The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies (CHKLC), Hong Kong Association of Registered Public Interest Entity Auditors Limited (PIEAA), and The Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD) will be held on 30 January, 2024. The forum aims to explore the current status and future trends of the Hong Kong capital markets, policies and planning, methods for attracting domestic and international investors, and exploring innovative financial and business models to address challenges such as currency fluctuations and geopolitical issues, enabling Hong Kong to respond to challenges and seize opportunities.

The forum will bring together professionals from the capital markets, government agencies, academia, and the financial industry to discuss the prospects, challenges, and opportunities for the global and Chinese economies in 2024. The forum will focus on topics such as market integrity, sound governance, and sustainable growth. The event is also held in line with the Asian Financial Forum (AFF) and in support of the International Financial Week (IFW) to contribute to the consolidation of Hong Kong's position as an international financial center.
